Abstract
On September 27, the 2025 China (Cangxian) Red Date and Dried Nuts Leisure Food Expo & Industry Development Conference opened in Cangzhou, Hebei.
The opening ceremony was attended by leaders including Ke Bingsheng, a member of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and former President of China Agricultural University; Bi Meijia, former member of the Party Leadership Group and Chief Economist of the Ministry of Agriculture, as well as Chairman of the Board of the China Rural Cooperative Economic Management Society; Zhang Jianping, First-Level Inspector of the Science, Education, and Social Organizations Department of the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and Executive Vice President and Legal Representative of the China Fruit Circulation Association; Song Youhong, Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Cangzhou City; Dai Shusheng, Vice Mayor of the People’s Government of Cangzhou City; Yang Meng, Secretary of the County Party Committee of Cangxian; and Mu Chunjiang, Deputy Secretary of the County Party Committee and County Mayor of Cangxian.
Dai Shusheng, Vice Mayor of the People’s Government of Cangzhou City, stated that Cangzhou has always regarded specialty agricultural industries as a key driver for rural revitalization. The transformation of Cang County’s red date and dried nut industry—from leveraging scale advantages to cultivating quality and brand strengths—serves as a vivid microcosm of the city’s high‑quality agricultural development. We sincerely invite entrepreneurs and investors to come to Cangzhou, put down roots here, work hand in hand to deepen their engagement in the specialty agriculture sector, share in the benefits of industrial development, and jointly write a new chapter in Cangzhou’s high‑quality agricultural development and comprehensive rural revitalization!
Building on the success of the previous two conferences, this year’s event features an opening gala, a high‑quality specialty exhibition, a conference on upgrading the red date industry and fostering integrated development through new e‑commerce innovation, as well as government‑bank‑enterprise matchmaking sessions, private domain livestream product selection and matching meetings, and interactive check‑in activities.
